Heart Rate Tracking

Summary
This has a history of heart rate plots, with comments. These are collected here so that they can be referenced in posts such as Heart Watch. In this way the details needed to watch for a trend can be readily accessible while still not intrusive for the top level discussion and conclusions.

Outdoor bike ride
I was in Turbo all the way. Average speed was somewhere between 10 and 12 mph. Our roots stay pretty flat. There are four bikes in the heart rate; three on the left and one on the right. The first on the left is me walking in and sitting down on the bench in the Exercise Room room. The second Spike on the left was me doing my double Bob while I was sitting there. The third spike I think is when I walked out in the garage and got my bike and got set up to go. The fourth pike over on the right is after I had finished the bike ride, come back into Exercise Room, sat on the bench and did my double Bob. In other words, everything in between was me riding the bike and I doubt my heart got over about 78 or 80.

These 4 figures (fjaa214435) show periods where the heart rate floor appears to be at a nominal level. Unclear why this does it. (Notes)

Narrative:
Today (250912) it was discovered that the heart rates (V rate) in the most recent pacemaker episodes summary corresponded with periods where the elevated heart rate had been noted. Low and behold, the V rate in the episodes summary nicely corresponded with the observed rates in the iWatch heart rate summary for the same time period. Tonight a test was conducted where I sat in a kitchen chair, and twisted to the right with my left arm across my chest. Similar to what was done yesterday at the device clinic check. The premise being checked was whether or not the elevated heart rate could be triggered using this method. The lower left plot in the gallery below confirms that idea. Indeed when the twist was done an elevated heart rate was created. Tonight’s simple test lacked the precision and careful documentation of timing of twist vs heart rate change to be absolutely certain. What is clear is that there was at least some correlation between the two events (twisting in the chair and the elevated heart rate).
More ideas need to be explored but will not be covered here. Refer to this section’s Notes and Tasks comments for more details. Also there, others may add questions/observations/suggestions as a collaborative group. All are welcome to participate. My primary goal is to build confidence in a next step to getting to a better heart rate profile and (ideally) a more comfortable and more vigorous lifestyle.
